Who Am I? I Don't Know Anymore

Something happened today that has shaken the very foundation of my identity. I no longer know if I am who I thought I was. It seems I don't know which way is up, or how to get out...or even how to put on my socks anymore.

Ok...breath...Here's what happened.

I was sitting in church, minding my own business, when a nice Scottish gentleman comes up and introduces himself. I introduced myself, and in a thick Scottish brogue, he said, "Ahh...Lifferth! Now tha's a good Irish name if ever I heard one!"

Family...we really need to sort this out and find out the answer to this question.

It can't be true, can it? How would that explain my love of sauerkraut and bratwurst?

What's true anymore???

I heard it was African.

Goodness, that's is unnerving.

Don't worry: your name is Zach, the church is true, and you need to find a wife. Remember those three things and you're good to go.

On a related note-bratwurst is fabulous whether you're german or not.

Oh I love the controversy. I love the look on every Lifferth face when someone says the Lifferth name comes from Ireland. It makes my day. :)

Hysterical! I remember my mom once made the mistake of asking Jurgen about that controversy; he wouldn't even hear it. I'm okay with either; I married an Irishman so maybe it's better for our marriage this way. :)

I fancy corn beef and cabbage. And I like the color green. We're totally Irish, nothing to be ashamed of.

Hilarious! Maybe while you're out there you can research it for all of us-get down to the truth. I agree with Whitney-"your name is Zach, the church is true, you really need to find a wife."

Love ya!

Ezra's challenge was with milk doused with chocolate syrup (also new to his diet). Ezra still prefers soy milk over cow milk, so he is drinking only chocolate cow milk for the time being. We definitely plan to phase out the soy (and the exclusive chocolate milk), but it might take a while.

Don't you remember the German dinner that Karl and Paula did and they brought that into the mix?! Man, that sure did stir up the ol' tempers in all those Germans! I, however, KNOW I am Irish and I am proud. So, come on board!

LOL! Funny! Irish or not - I'm proud to be a Lifferth.
