Fragile
Most people don't realize how strong an egg can be. If applied evenly on all sides, an egg can withstand as much as 20 lbs of pressure and still remain intact. However, even the slightest alteration of pressure between respective areas...and the yoke is on you.I lost a friend. Much like the egg, a friendship can withstand a lot of things...however, despite going through all sorts of pressure...one action awry can shatter it beyond repair.
My friend has every right to be upset. I understand now what I did. I accept full responsibility for the collapse of something great. I am not one to typically go around with cavalier bravado, shattering relationships on a whim. My actions were never intended to bring down this house of cards...but they did and it happened.

I'm sorry Zach. I hope this little note cheers you up. Just think, in about a month your little bros will be out there hanging out with their favorite cousin Zach. We are so excited to see ya and hang out in Cali for Spring Break. Love ya man!!
Zach! You broke my heart! I've decided in my ripe old age of 29, that friendships come and friendships go. Some hold on strong forever, but for the most part we pass each other in life, change, grow, then say goodbye. You are loved by many. :)

sorry man about your friend. If they would only apply the principle of forgiveness maybe they can see through the unintentional mistake and realize we are all humanoids and deserve patience and longsuffering from time to time.

Let me explain. You said that one small movement can shatter a friendship. I think it takes more than one. If it is a friendship worth keeping, it takes more than one. And it sounds like you are blaming yourself. Remember "friendship" is more than one person. Knowing you - I doubt you "caused" this friendship to shatter. That just isn't like you. We love you Zach!

Just so you know I agree with your fam. My egg would be cracked, dragged across the dirt, maybe even scrambled a little, but it somehow always gets fixed (duct tape is an amazing material). Don't forget how wonderful you are even when you act a little stupid at times! You are loved by many...

Hmmm the egg thing sounds like a great science project for Braxton. Next time find stronger "eggs" for friends.
